In this course students will focus on making and producing films.  Students will work on both the basics and beyond depending on the level they are at.  They will work with a variety of styles and genres of film, both individually and collaboratively.  Using school equipment students will work on skills such as project pitching, script writing, cinematography, green screen, special effects, sound, lighting, editing and more.  The course is very self-directed and takes some self-motivation.  Students in this class have won the three out of the last four years of the student Vancouver Island FilmCan Festival.  If you are at all interested in making short films or improving your video making skills this class is for you.
