Students will complete English 9 with Social Studies 9 and Social Studies 10 in one class that spans the school year. This provides students with three course credits in a two course timeframe. As this opportunity demands academic rigor and caters to motivated learners, a selection process is in place.
See the descriptions for English 9, Social Studies 9 and 10 in the handbook. The theme for the Humanities course is ‘nation-building’. Students will make connections & critically evaluate Canada’s historical practices of nation-building & how we continue to build Canada today.
Please apply for the opportunity to engage with motivated learners and educators for an exciting investigation of wars, culture clashes and the positive and negative impacts of nation-building!
