Spanish 12 continues to focus on increasingly complex French skills, as acquired in early grades. As at the introductory and intermediate levels, this class will focus on increasingly advanced reading, writing, telling, and listening to stories that utilize high-frequency vocabulary and idioms.
The primary focus of this course is to learn French through comprehensible input that focuses on hearing, telling, and writing complex stories. In addition to language acquisition, the class will focus on cultural knowledge and appreciation of the French speaking world through stories, music, film, television, art and other media. This course also incorporates a project-based learning opportunity to showcase language and culture at the end of the semester.
Units will often focus on advanced reading and responses to stories, graphic novels, or novellas of an appropriate level.
