Welcome to Community Leadership 10! This course is tailored to provide students with the chance to enhance their individual and collective sense of social responsibility by acquiring and applying leadership skills.
Throughout the course, students will cultivate lifelong skills in goal-setting, time management, public speaking, school and community service, public relations, decision making, and team building. Previous years’ projects have included organization and implementation of schools dances, spirit weeks, school bbq’s, multicultural celebrations, visits to Torquay, Hillcrest, and Gordon Head and more.
Additionally, students will gain insights into various leadership styles, allowing them to explore their personal values and develop their unique leadership approach through diverse leadership experiences. This course runs outside the school’s regular timetable.
