Welcome to Community Leadership 11! This course is tailored to provide students with the chance to enhance their individual and collective sense of social responsibility by acquiring and applying leadership skills.
Throughout the course, students will cultivate lifelong skills in goal-setting, time management, public speaking, school and community service, public relations, decision making, and team building. Previous years’ projects have included organization and implementation of schools dances, spirit weeks, school bbq’s, multicultural celebrations, visits to Torquay, Hillcrest, and Gordon Head and more.

This involves mentoring, supporting, and creating a positive impact through various initiatives. Students will also gain insights into various leadership styles, fostering an exploration of personal values and the development of a unique leadership approach through diverse experiences. Please note that this course operates outside the school’s regular timetable.
