This course is designed for students who intend to enroll in a college or university program that does not require calculus. Students must successfully complete Foundations of Mathematics and Pre-Calculus 10 and receive a recommendation from their math teacher to register for Foundations 11. 

This course may include the following concepts:

Forms of mathematical reasoning, angle relationships, graphical analysis: (linear inequalities, quadratic functions, systems of equations, optimization), applications of statistics, scale models, financial literacy: compound interest, investments and loans
