Spanish 11 builds on the skills developed in Introductory Spanish 11. As in Intro Spanish, this class will focus on reading, writing, telling, and listening to stories that utilize high-frequency vocabulary. 

The primary focus of this course will be to learn Spanish through comprehensible input that focuses on hearing, telling, and writing stories. In addition to language acquisition, the class will focus on cultural knowledge and appreciation of the Spanish speaking world through stories, music, film, television, art and other media.

Units will often focus on reading and responding to stories, graphic novels, or novellas of an appropriate level.

Prerequisite: Introductory Spanish 11 or Spanish 9 and 10
